The City of Armadale’s Hawkers Markets will be back by popular demand on Friday 9 and 23 October, from 5 to 8.30pm at Memorial Park, Orchard Avenue, Armadale.
The Hawkers Markets will be a feast for the tastebuds, eyes and ears with international cuisines and cultural performances on show.
“The community loved having markets in April and we have received great feedback from our residents who want to see more market style events,” said Armadale Mayor Henry Zelones OAM JP.
“There will be delicious food from WA Spit Roasts, Smokin BBQ Bus, Nom Nom Cupcakes and Maison St Honore French patisserie.
“There will be performances from a range of international artists from India, China to South Africa and the Seychelles. Performers will include Village Vibes, Yaolin Kung Fu Lion Dancers and Grace Barbe Afro Kreol.
“This event has been a resounding success. There is a really positive multicultural community in our region and this is a wonderful way to celebrate it.
“This is a great way to taste food from around the world and enjoy a night out with family and friends,” he said.
The City of Armadale Hawkers Market is a smoke and alcohol free, family friendly event.
