Head to Rushton Park on Sunday 30 April for some PAW-some fun! The City of Armadale’s Dogs’ Day Out is back and it’s all kicking off from 10am.
It’s going to be one big party for your fur-baby as they join other four-legged friends at this pet friendly event.
City of Armadale Mayor Ruth Butterfield is expecting the event to draw a large crowd given its return for the first time since 2018 having paw-sed due to COVID.
“The City of Armadale is well-known for being dog friendly, with four dog exercise parks suitable for small and large dogs and amazing walk trails, but our Dogs’ Day Out event takes things to another level!
“There’s fun activities for all the family, with a bouncy castle and face painting for the kids, food trucks, a sausage sizzle and information stalls on all things dog related.
“If you want to go to some extra effort, you can enter your canine buddy in the Best Dressed Dog Competition or impress the judges with a trick or two,” said Mayor Butterfield.
The City’s Ranger Services team will be in attendance to answer any dog related queries you may have and provide advice on responsible dog ownership.
Plus a choice of dog related merchandise will be available, along with a dog wash service and even animal rescue groups on hand to chat with.
The City encourages responsible dog ownership, and dogs must be on a leash at all times.
