Each year the City of Armadale hosts two plenary sessions, this year on behalf of the Bushcare Environmental Working Group (BEWG). During plenary sessions, the community can hear from various experts who are informative and passionate presenters on topics of interest, including wildlife conservation and rehabilitation.
Join us at the Armadale hall-Kim Fletcher Gallery for a public talk by Dr Katinka Ruthrof, a research scientist from the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation, and Attractions, and Dr. Joe Fontaine, a fire and plant ecologist from Murdoch University. They will discuss their research and assessment of the forest die-off events observed in 2011 and again in 2024. Learn more about the critical work being done to understand the responses to, and implications of, severe drought across the region
