Parks Sportsground Maintenance
15 active ovals consisting of approximately 79 hectares of maintained turf. Council mows on a rotational basis. Our officers mow more often during the summer months.
Some tasks undertaken within active sports ovals are:
- Soil and leaf tissue analysis
- Fertilising
- Wetting agent application
- Rubbish collection
- Weed control
- Tree and shrub maintenance
- Sports lighting and furniture maintenance
Turf renovations include:
