Unfortunately the renovation of Armadale Arena’s playing courts has been delayed by a further four to six weeks due to unexpected setbacks.

The Armadale Arena has recently undergone significant upgrades, which included demolition and replacement of significant parts of the court roof and an upgrade to reception.

Whilst this portion of the contract is now complete, unfortunately the court area experienced water damage during contract works that has impacted on the court floor surface.

The extent of the damage is being assessed with urgent repair to be undertaken immediately. Unfortunately this will result in a delay to the reopening of the two courts. The courts are expected to be ready for use by September.

The City apologises for any inconvenience caused and will make every effort to accommodate groups on Court 3 in the interim.
