Controlling my own life: Making the most of Consumer Directed Care, 1.30 – 2.30pm

A representative from Council on Ageing WA (COTA WA) will discuss the recent changes in the way home care is delivered in Australia including how the older person has more choice and control over the services they receive.

Footcare, 3 – 4pm

Our feet are an important part of our body and as we age, can require special care.

The Juniper Outreach and Wellness Program’s Podiatrist will discuss the anatomy of the foot, common conditions that affect feet, how diabetes affects feet and choosing the correct shoes.
