Following rave reviews and positive community feedback the City of Armadale will continue its Music in the Mall series for another month.
“Over the last six weeks we have showcased a range of musicians, many of whom are local, in the Jull Street Mall in an effort to liven the space on Friday afternoons,” said Armadale Mayor Henry Zelones OAM JP.
“Mall users have enjoyed hot country banjo picking, the sounds of the Argentinean tango through to contemporary East African guitar.
“We have received very positive feedback from visitors and businesses alike, that people have enjoyed seeing the Jull Street Mall come alive with music.
“We will continue our lunch time musical series for another four weeks and introduce some more unique talent to our community,” he said.
The Music in the Mall series is part of the Jull Street Reactivation project aimed at transforming the Jull Street Mall into a community hub.
The Music in the Mall series has been extended until Friday 24 April and will run weekly from noon to 2pm on Fridays.
