The City of Armadale’s Hawker’s Markets series is on again and for those who love delectable food, vibrant live music and something a little out of the ordinary, then this event is for you.
Last year’s Hawker’s Markets were a huge success, quickly becoming a popular night out among the community, and this year is set to be no exception.
Celebrating the cultural diversity in the region, the markets are a great way for families to feast on a variety of delicious food and listen to music from all over the world.
There will be a delicious array of food ranging from Spicy Moroccan to tasty Turkish, Parisian waffles to the good old spit roast – and all in between to tempt the tastebuds of the fussiest of foodies.
Performances from a range of international artists include Samoan singers, Japanese drummers, Crystal Jade’s oriental ensemble, accordion aficionado Cathie Travers, and the sublime South American pan pipes played by Chilean band Huaira.
The City of Armadale Hawker’s Markets will be held on Friday, 4 November and Friday, 18 November at Memorial Park, Orchard Avenue, from 5 – 8.30pm.
The markets are a smoke and alcohol free, family friendly event.
