Forrestdale Business Park (FBP) continues to grow strongly with 16 development applications lodged already this year.
The industrial park offers some of the most affordable commercial land available in the Perth metropolitan area and has excellent connections to major transit links including Perth Airports, Fremantle Port and Kwinana Port Freight Terminal.
To date there has been in excess of $290 million worth of private investment committed in FBP, through a range of existing and approved developments.
Armadale Mayor Henry Zelones OAM, JP said businesses and developers continue to be attracted to the affordable and diverse lot sizes as well as the proximity to major transport routes including Armadale Road and Tonkin Highway.
“The park is already home to a range of commercial, mixed business and industrial enterprises including Alita Constructions, Oilfield and Resource Rentals, Barrier Reef Pools, APH Contractors, Bunnings and Masters.
“Recent months has seen the opening of the Caltex Service Station and Hungry Jacks fronting Armadale Road, along with a new Puma Service Station and Muzz Buzz drive thru on Ranford Road, providing much needed services to the thousands of vehicles that travel around this area daily.
“We anticipate 15,000 new jobs to be created at FBP when build out is complete.
“With the continued growth of residential developments in our western suburbs, the FBP is continuing to attract new and established businesses to relocate.
“For example local company, Beaver Tree Services, is now reaping the benefits of relocating to larger premises in this prime location with easy access to Armadale Road and the Tonkin Highway,” he said.
