Annual Children’s Week celebrations are coming to the City of Armadale, with plenty of activities to keep the little ones active and smiling.
Children's Week is staged in Australia each year around Universal Children's Day, the fourth Wednesday in October.
The week celebrates the right of children to enjoy childhood and highlights their talents, skills and abilities. The theme for this year is ‘All in Together’.
All toddlers, pre-school children and their parents or carers are invited to Memorial Park in Jull Street, for a fun morning of activities and games on 25 October from 9 to 11.30am.
Armadale Mayor Henry Zelones said the City was a strong supporter of Children’s Week and every year hosts a series of different activities to appeal to young families and also grandparents.
“Activities associated with Children’s Week allow us to further promote the importance of the family unit and enjoying quality time with your children,” he said.
“I encourage all local families with children to join in the fun of the events the City has planned,” said Mayor Zelones.
