In the City of Armadale, dumping trash where it doesn't belong is a big no-no. We provide a range of free services to our residents so there’s no need to illegally dump your mattresses and big stuff like fridges and furniture. Residents can schedule a free collection of up to 2 mattresses annually and we’ll even recycle up to 75% of mattress components. Simply head to www.armadale.wa.gov.au/booked-mattress-collection to book online.
We also offer free bulk verge collections for items like white goods, metal, and large furniture as well as green waste, like tree branches and lawn clippings. Any items that are not collected can be dropped off at the Armadale Landfill and Recycling Facility. Look up your verge collection zone online at www.armadale.wa.gov.au/bulk-verge-collection or refer to the annual Waste and Recycling Guide, delivered in December each year.
